Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and/or the Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse Associate is tasked with receiving, inputting, sorting, bagging, loading, and unloading products and well as performing various warehouse activities.
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our Fallbrook, CA location.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory Inspecting products for defects and damages Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments Organize warehouse space Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately Safely operate forklift to load and unload product Check, verify and fill customer invoices Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures Keep warehouse clean and organized daily QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently, as well as cooperatively within a team, and across multiple departments and personality types. EDUCATION, EPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred 1-year prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred Prior experience using a warehouse data system preferred Prior experience operating forklift Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Forklift certification a plus BENEFITS:
