Maintenance Electrician | 3rd Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift: 10pm-6am
$2.50/hour shift premium

Job Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance and repairs on equipment and finds solutions for improvements to equipment to keep them running at or above required efficiency levels. Trouble-shooting and solving problems with electrical and electronic systems. Trouble-shooting and repair of electrical systems, relays, and PLC controls Use of electronic test equipment, oscilloscopes, megohmeters, multi-meters, signal generators, etc. Use and understanding of ladder diagrams/logic and competent in the programming and trouble-shooting of programmable controllers. Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Maintain accurate work logs of repairs using the CMMS work order system and equipment modifications including preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, to ensure information is available to appropriately manage workloads. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
High School or Equivalency Diploma Journeyman Card or 4 years of applicable experience as a qualified electrician in troubleshooting, electrical repair such as PLC's, Relays, Ladder Logic, Controls, and electrical systems, or equivalent military experience. Experience and strength in the areas of Lock Out Tag Out Demonstrated ability to read and utilize prints and drawings of components and mechanical systems. Strong mechanical skills and technical aptitude Demonstrated an organized, logical, and detailed method of troubleshooting Must have strong verbal and written communication and problem solving skills. Flexibility and ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays to support production needs is required and can include on call coverage Ability to read, write and understand the English language Demonstrated ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to use a personal computer (PC) and related software; Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) Drive and ability to learn new skills and to investigate when you do not know something yourself Desire to work in a fast paced environment with limited supervision Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity. Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Applied Science, Electrical Engineering or other related field Previous experience with electrical troubleshooting automated systems Knowledge of aseptic processes, equipment and products Journeyman's Certification as a Electrician Physically be able to frequently lift/carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds, reach overhead, climb, squat/bend/kneel, occasionally sit, and regularly stand, walk/move about.
