*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, automotive diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment. * Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. * Conduct repairs on transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC units. * Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks. * Execute alignment adjustments and brake repairs as needed. * Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting tasks.
*Qualifications*
* Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair. * Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. * Knowledge of electrical systems is beneficial. * Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.. * Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of the job responsibilities. * Certification or training in automotive repair or diesel mechanics is preferred.
