Staffmark is looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner to support operations by managing orders, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth production and shipping processes. Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience Schedule: Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Responsibilities: Process customer and sales orders, verify accuracy, and set delivery dates based on production schedules and material availability. Develop daily/weekly work schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency. Coordinate shipments, negotiate carrier rates, plan loading schedules, and ensure timely deliveries. Order raw materials, maintain stock levels, prepare bills of materials, and keep accurate inventory records . Communicate with sales, operations, and plant teams to manage schedules, order changes, and interplant transfers. Prepare certificates, coordinate inspections, and maintain compliance with agency requirements. Qualifications: Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordination (manufacturing environment preferred). Strong knowledge of inventory management and production processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field is a plus.
