Bartending at Mirbeau is more than pouring drinks - it's about creating meaningful guest experiences. Behind every expertly crafted cocktail is a bartender who knows how to connect, engage, and elevate each moment with care and professionalism. In this role, you'll prepare and serve beverages with precision and attention to detail, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and provide warm, attentive service in alignment with Mirbeau's elevated hospitality standards. You'll work closely with spa, dining, and resort teams to ensure each guest receives a seamless, relaxing, and refined experience.
Pay Rate: $8:00
per hour plus tips - potential to make up to $50.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Communication Greet guests warmly and engage with them using Forbes and Mirbeau language standards. Provide exceptional, personalized guest service that aligns with the resort's elevated standards. Take guest orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Assist guests with food and other service requests as needed. Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently. Monitor guest behavior and manage potentially intoxicated individuals responsibly. Suggest and promote specialty cocktails, wines, and house drinks to enhance guest experience. Drink Preparation & Service Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences. Craft premium cocktails, wine, and beverages with precision, attention to detail, and presentation. Ensure accurate measures of liquor, wine, and mixed drinks are poured and served in a friendly manner. Check IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all laws and policies. Bar Setup & Maintenance Set up bar stations prior to opening, ensuring proper stocking of glassware, garnishes, alcohol, juices, ice, napkins, coasters, and other supplies. Prepare garnishes and mixers daily to maintain freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and equipment throughout the shift. Restock and replenish bar inventory, glassware, and ingredients as needed. Maintain par stock levels for liquors and wines on the bar shelf and in the stockroom. Assist the Director of Food & Beverage with weekly ordering and recommendations. Keep accurate records of all in-house beverage transfers and submit reports to the Accounting Department. Report any voids, drink spoilage, or inventory discrepancies to the Director of F&B for approval. Operational Duties:
Report to work in a clean uniform with name tag and arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Operate POS system accurately and handle cash, credit card transactions, and tips securely. Maintain a calm, gracious, and professional demeanor even during high-volume periods. Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Assist with bar opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown. Follow all resort policies and comply with local, state, and company Alcohol Beverage Laws. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and perform any additional job-related duties as assigned by management. Perform any additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:
Professional Knowledge & Experience Previous bartending experience required; experience in an upscale, refined, or fine dining environment is preferred. Thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, wines, beers, and bar equipment. TIPS certification Guest Service & Communication Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to engage warmly and professionally with all guests. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions and teamwork. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining composure, attention to detail, and high-quality service during peak hours. Technical & Operational Skills Proficient in operating POS systems and handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, consistently delivering quality drinks that meet company standards. Personal Attributes & Appearance Warm, polished, and professional demeanor aligned with Mirbeau's elevated hospitality standards. Well-groomed appearance reflecting Mirbeau's standards Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and collaboration.
