That's why we prioritize a healthy work-life balance with hybrid WFH schedules, supportive leadership, and a culture that respects your time.Professional Development: We encourage continued education and earning insurance designations by not only paying the fees but also giving bonuses to reward you!Position SummaryThis is a position assisting Producers in handling and processing new and renewal lines business and providing customer service to clients as assigned and requested.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in marketing, analysis, and servicing of the commercial insurance book of business of about $100,000 to $250,000 of commission income business in accordance with procedures outlined by the organizationDevelop and produce submissions for marketing on renewal accounts to carriersPrepare proposals for renewal policies in accordance with coverage and limitsAttend pre-renewal and renewal meetingsBind renewal policiesProvide ongoing service to clients, including but not limited to binders, invoices, endorsements, and certificatesCheck policies to assure that coverage's and limits are as ordered and that they match agency management systemLearn to Analyze and compare quotations and reviews forms for proposalsLearn to Review policy forms to ensure that correct forms are included on the policyMaintain account file in agency management system, including incoming and outgoing e-mail correspondencePerform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissionsCommunicate the daily work of the Assistant Account Manager (if applicable)Assist in developing a service plan tailored to clients needs and work with producers and others to service clientsProcess changes and renewals through communication with the insured, insurance companies and producersPursue a program for personal and professional experience (education classes,seminars, workshops) in combination with individual study programs to expand your knowledge and skillsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required6 months to a year of experience in commercial (property and casualty) insurance, preferably with larger and more complex middle-market clients and risksLicenses or Certifications:Active Utah Property and Casualty license required; Utah Life & Health license desiredWorking toward CISR and/ or CICRequired Job Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of major insurance coverage, including General Liability, Commercial Automobile, Workers Compensation, Products Liability, Commercial Property, and UmbrellaUnderstand the content and structure of the insurance contractCommercial Property, Umbrella, Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writingAbility to understand and analyze commercial lines coverage forms, rating, and policiesAbility to establish and develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, trusted business partners, and coworkersGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to work well with detailsProficient in a variety of computer software applications used by the agency, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; EPIC; as well as the Internet and Carrier Web SitesPhysical:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
