Custom Food Solutions is looking for a hands-on first shift Maintenace Mechanic
Monday-Friday: 7-3:30 (extra hours may be required a possible weekend)
Equipment includes conveyors, one boiler, baggers, pumps, piping, metal detectors, a wrapper, forklifts, tape machines, compressors, steam systems, overhead doors, pallet jacks, steam kettles, cup filler, electric troubleshooting, etc
Position Responsibilities
Maintain and repair all food processing and packaging equipment in operation, which includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting/problem-solving activities and maintenance, repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime Perform PMs to ensure machinery is at its full potential Meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer care Run projects to ensure equipment is running properly Job Qualifications:
Prefer AAS or other technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and maintenance electrical/mechanical troubleshooting experience 4+ years of maintenance manufacturing experience. Chemical, food, packaging, or similar industry is preferred, but open to any industry if it's manufacturing Strong mechanical and electrical skills Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, pumps, valves, belts, chains, bearings, pulleys, gearboxes, fans, valves, conveyors, and various related equipment Being able to troubleshoot PLCs, servos, VFDs, relays, sensors, and switches is a plus Being able to read blueprints and schematics is preferred Experience with fabrication, welding, pipefitting, boilers, or HVAC is a plus Self-motivated, positive attitude, energetic, punctual, hard-working, and eager to improve processes/ streamline the equipment Benefits:
