Assists with surgical cases in various specialty areas. Helps with ancillary tasks as needed such as cleaning, managing supplies, and assisting in assembling instrumentation in sterile processing. No call required, but may work holidays and some weekends. Experience in Robotics, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Bariatrics, GYN, and minor Vascular Surgery is required. Must be able to assist with Neuro surgery and orthopedics. Mandatory skills include CST and BLS certifications. There are 19 operating rooms, and the tech to patient ratio is 1:1. Telemetry monitoring is available, with anesthesiologists monitoring anesthesia. Caseload includes general, robotics, bariatrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, neuro, cardiac, urology, ENT, plastics, and endovascular cases. Candidates must be able to circulate and assist with intubation/extubation and patient positioning. Robotics experience is a significant preference. Orientation includes two 8-hour shifts. Weekend rotations and holiday work may be required occasionally.
