Work model:
On-Site What you will do: Set up, diagnose, and repair control systems for fluid handling equipment, including emergency service calls Utilize foundational PLC skills (Allen-Bradley) to identify issues and make system adjustments Perform minor machining and repair tasks across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Interpret technical documents such as pump manuals, wiring schematics, ladder diagrams, and work orders Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and lifting equipment to complete service assignments Adhere to safety standards and maintain a tidy, efficient workspace What you will need to be successful: Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and process instrumentation Familiarity with Allen-Bradley software and automation systems Strong troubleshooting skills and technical problem-solving ability High level of integrity, initiative, and goal orientation Clear and effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts Benefits overview: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k PTO Interested and qualified candidates can contact Aaron Christner at (319) 449-1200 or email Aaron at achristner@thepalmergroup.com.
