Patient ratios are 1:1. Candidates must be familiar with specific procedures, especially for vascular and abdominal robotic surgeries. Support on the unit includes charge nurse, leads, and supervisors. Charting system used is EPIC. Floating is required within surgical services. Weekends and holidays may be required, with a specified on-call response time. Scheduling is subject to change based on department needs and includes a variable weekend rotation.
