Travel MRI Technologist - $2,925 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Department: Radiology Diagnostic Shift: Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM / Weekends: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Alternating weekends) Key Responsibilities: Screen patients for MRI safety and confirm identity using two patient identifiers. Educate patients about the MRI process and address any concerns. Set up, operate, and adjust MRI equipment (GE preferred). Position patients and ensure comfort and safety throughout the scan. Maintain a safe MRI environment, adhering to zone 4 magnetic field safety standards. Evaluate image quality and present results to the radiologist. Document procedures accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Clean and organize the MRI suite and equipment after each use. Perform equipment checks and report any issues. Maintain inventory of imaging supplies.
