Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience and current ARRT credentials for a Level 1 trauma tertiary care setting.Job Details•Work in a tertiary care hospital with a Level 1 trauma designation,•Adult inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and acute care cases,•MRI procedures include abdomen, brain, neck, spine, MR angiogram (MRA), and MR venography (MRV), with cardiac MRI preferred,•Utilizes GE 1.5T and 3T equipment and PACS system,•Epic EMR is used; experience preferred,•12-hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 to 19:00,•Weekend requirement with blocked shifts,•On-call required, typically one night per week from 00:00 to 06:00,•Floating within the service line is required as needed,Job Requirements•Minimum of 2 years current MRI technologist experience required, with at least 1 year within the last 12 months and no employment gaps greater than 90 days,•Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (MR) certifications required,•License required if applicable; both Kansas and Missouri or a compact license must be in hand at time of consideration,•Skills required include isolation precautions, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, and starting peripheral IVs,•Experience with adult acute care, adult ICU, and outpatient MRI preferred,•Knowledge of GE MRI systems, Epic EMR, and PACS preferred,•Submission of two professional references from the past year, including at least one supervisor,Additional Information•Responsibilities include providing MRI imaging for various adult patient populations and supporting imaging in trauma, ICU, and outpatient settings,•Navy scrubs required,•Free parking available,•Modules and compliance training are required prior to starting and during orientation,•Drug screening is mandatory and only negative, non-diluted results are accepted,•A maximum of 7 days RTO allowed,•No local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted,•First-time travelers accepted if 2 years of experience is met,•No travel partners accepted,],•hash,:•8166201788471737339,
