We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to design, develop, and maintain high-quality automated testing solutions for complex web applications. In this role, you will work closely with development, cloud, QA, and security teams to ensure software is reliable, secure, and production-ready. You will focus on building automated UI and API test frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and embedding security testing throughout the development lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to influence test automation strategies, improve quality standards, and collaborate in a dynamic, DevSecOps-focused environment. Your work will directly contribute to delivering robust applications and enabling seamless end-user experiences. Accountabilities • Design, build, and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks using C# (.NET Core), Playwright, and Postman/Newman. • Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, establishing quality gates to prevent production defects. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Developers, Cloud Engineers, QA Analysts, and Security Specialists to ensure applications are testable, secure, and resilient. • Read and interpret TypeScript/Angular code to support front-end testing efforts. • Embed security testing (SAST, DAST, dependency scans) directly into the development lifecycle. • Troubleshoot flaky tests, optimize coverage, and advocate best practices for test automation across teams.

Requirements • 3-5 years of experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps. • Strong programming skills in C# (.NET Core/ASP.NET). • Experience testing Angular applications with knowledge of TypeScript. • Familiarity with Playwright, Postman/Newman, and a passion for clean, maintainable test code. • Experience embedding security testing in pipelines. • Solid understanding of testing types-unit, integration, regression-and metrics for success (coverage, reliability, defect detection). • Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.

Benefits • Remote work with opportunities for in-person collaboration and training. • Competitive salary: $105,000-$115,000. • Generous paid time off, sick leave, and flexible work schedule. • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. • Exceptional retirement benefits and 401(k) options. • Monthly remote work stipend. • Training and tuition assistance programs. • Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional support.
