Position SummaryThe Inventory Control Operator is responsible for receiving, shipping, and inventory control of materials; ensures accurate records, safe practices, and continuous improvement in warehouse operations. ResponsibilitiesMaintains organized inventory storage including cycle counting of materials, maintaining, and correcting records and investigating differences before making necessary inventory adjustments. Recognize and distinguish between all storage locations. Receives MRO, raw, and worked materials including all duties associated with receiving and reporting material receipts.Handles all entries and records for in-process, incoming, and outgoing materials.Ships worked materials, including all duties associated with shipping and reporting material shipments. Ships finished goods when required. Schedules shipment back to vendors for rejected materials.Handles UPS and FedEx.Follow all safety standards at all timesBe a self-starter - demonstrate initiative to identify and apply solutions to remove roadblocksDemonstrate ownership and willingness to continuously improve self and area of accountabilityRecognize continuous improvement opportunities that will enhance safety, quality, organization, and productivityAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesWe we are looking forAt least 2 years of production/manufacturing operations experience, preferably using SAPAble to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperaturesWilling and able to collaborate across functionsSelf-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervisionGreat verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate a fork truck with a valid license so that when required, this operator can load or unload trucks and store materials.Must have a valid driver's license.Must be able to pass a visual acuity screeningClear understanding of inventory control software, Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer programs.HS Diploma/GED required
