About us and why we're hiring...We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with development, product, and design teams to create and execute test plans, identify bugs, and guarantee a seamless user experience across multiple platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both web and mobile applicationsConduct Testing: Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing on web, iOS, and Android platformsBug Management: Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Work with developers to ensure issues are resolved promptlyCollaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand project requirements and ensure all acceptance criteria are metAutomation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and coverageContinuous Improvement: Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, including defining and implementing best practices for software quality assuranceRequired QualificationsExperience: Proven experience as a QA Engineer or a similar roleStrong focus on testing both web and mobile applicationsUS citizens or individuals with existing work visasTechnical Skills:Familiarity with various testing methodologies and toolsExperience with a bug tracking tool like Jira, Asana, or similarProficiency in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or CypressSolid understanding of different operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)Familiarity with agile development methodologiesSoft Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsCoding Skills: Experience with a programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)CI/CD: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)API Testing: Knowledge of testing APIs using tools like Postman or SwaggerPerformance Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)Payments or accounting SaaS experienceUS citizens or individuals with existing work visas onlyWhy you'll love it here...RoadSync is a team of passionate professionals who care deeply about what we do - and bring our best effort every day.
