Job Title: Operator I Location: Irving, TX 75038 Duration: 12 Months, Extendable Contract Shift Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Job Summary: Responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Under close supervision, performs a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures; work is closely and continually reviewed. Ensure relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date. Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly in written and oral form to all levels of manufacturing management. Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers (such as tours). Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations. Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability metrics. Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are correct, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed. Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing. Participate with Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics. Support all divisional initiatives in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

High school degree or equivalent required. Dress Code Requirements:

Clothing must be non-shedding and free of frayed hems or loose threads. No tassels, fringes, glitter, sequins, or items that could become dislodged. No sweaters, sweater vests, loose fiber garments, loose knit, or fleece. Clothing must be clean and free of visible contamination. Clothing from the waist up must fit under the lab coat/gown. No turtlenecks or high-necked clothing extending above lab coat/gown. Sleeves shall not extend beyond gown cuffs. No caps, hats, scarves, or bandanas under bouffant. Custom head wraps/scarves: must be covered with bouffant, tail fully covered by lab coat/gown, made of tightly woven fabric, clean, and laundered. No loose-fitting clothing near machinery or torches. Shoes must be worn at all times; stockings or socks required. Shoes: heel not pointed or higher than 2 inches. No sandals, clogs, slippers, open toe, open heel, or shoes with straps/weave exposing toes. Changing shoes only allowed in gowning room. Torsos, upper arms, and legs must be covered. No pants or skirts above ankle, no slits, no short shirts, no sleeveless tops. Skirts at ankle allowed with full-length stockings, leggings, or pants underneath. No nail polish, acrylic/artificial nails, or coatings. No jewelry or body piercings that pierce gloves or cannot be covered under gowning materials. No makeup. Lip balm in stick form allowed if applied outside production areas before hand washing. No scented personal products, except deodorant. No lotion after hand washing. Cover open or bleeding wounds with a bandage. Do not wear anything offensive.
