The Picker Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures products are handled with care, inventory is organized, and customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick items from shelves or storage areas based on order lists. Check products for accuracy, quality, and condition before packing. Pack items securely into boxes or containers for shipment. Label packages with the correct shipping information. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines. Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed. Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) if required. Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience (a plus, but not always required). Ability to read and follow written instructions, order sheets, or pick lists. Good attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift, carry, and move packages (often 25-50 lbs). Comfortable working on feet for extended periods. Team-oriented, dependable, and punctual.
