NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene The Bureau of Public Health Clinics (BPHC) aims to promote community health by providing essential services such as immunizations, tuberculosis treatment, and sexual health services, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status. The BPHC provides direct healthcare, monitors disease trends, educates providers and communities, conducts research, and develops policies to deliver high-quality clinical care. BPHC seeks an Immunization Clinic Supervisor, reporting to the Nurse Director of Public Health Clinics. This role involves overseeing vaccination staff and managing vaccine inventory and procedures. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Manage the DOHMH immunization clinic team and oversee daily operations at the walk-in immunization clinic. Provide on-site supervision of clinical services and direct supervision of clinic staff including public health advisors, nurses, and agency nurses. Address issues promptly, manage increased demand, and prioritize clinic needs. Ensure compliance with Article 28 regulations, including safety protocols for blood-borne pathogens, infection control, and hazardous materials. Conduct staff training, including annual trainings and onboarding of agency nurses during peak seasons. Align clinic activities with immunization program goals and policies. Develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance activities to improve immunization services. Assist with electronic health record management (SIS), troubleshooting, and updates. Ensure high-quality customer service for patients. Additional Requirements

Adhere to safety policies, including PPE use, hand hygiene, and sharps safety.

Must possess a valid New York State Registered Nurse license for the duration of employment. Why Work for Us

Valid NY RN license, a baccalaureate degree in Nursing, and a master's in Nursing, Public Health, or related field, plus four years of recent relevant experience, including 18 months in a managerial or supervisory role, or Equivalent education/experience with the same licensing and experience requirements.
