Job Details: Mechanical Project Engineer – Large Industrial Systems Seeking a
US Citizen or Green Card holder
with
5+ years of mechanical project engineering
experience in
large-scale industrial equipment . Must have worked for an
OEM or EPC firm
on systems like HRSGs, SCRs, CO₂ capture, or gas compression trains. A mechanical engineering degree and strong technical leadership are essential. Key Requirements: Current Permanent US Residency (Green Card) or US Citizenship Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; significant mechanical experience. Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience (10+ years preferred) with Engineering Firm (EPC) or an Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with large industrial projects for the power generation, data centers, LNG, downstream petroleum (oil & gas), or industrial gas industries. Strong project examples include: Air Separation Units, Decarbonization Units, CO₂ Capture Units (amine-based decarbonizers), Flue Gas Scrubbers (FGD systems), Dry Sorbent Injection (DSI) Systems, Steam Turbine Generator Islands, Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Units, Cooling Towers (Mechanical Draft), Gas Compression Trains, Air-Cooled Condensers (ACCs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and cryogenic hydrogen compression systems. Skilled in technical writing and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus. Familiarity with ASME and AWS codes, as well as non-destructive testing, is advantageous. Responsibilities: Lead technical efforts for project execution, including mechanical equipment specification for industrial facilities. Prepare requisitions and support design calculations for rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and piping systems. Conduct technical evaluations of bids and approve vendor deliverables. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project success. Oversee field inspections and performance evaluations to uphold compliance and quality standards.
