Youll ensure our code is testable by participating in design reviews and code walkthroughs. As an advocate for engineering quality, youll ensure the team understands testing processes and error documentation. Youll promote automation tools and techniques for unit testing. Working with software engineers, your test plans will cover the entire scope of user stories delivered each sprint. Desired Traits: Whip-smart, endlessly curious, a problem-solver Agilethrives on change A creator who thinks big but masters details Proactive and results-driven Deadline-oriented Position Summary & Key Responsibilities: Automate tests using proprietary or open-source frameworks Collaborate across teams to develop solution-based test plans incorporating stakeholder feedback Maintain understanding of other ***VOYIX product lines and their impact Adapt to testing areas like Backend, UI, and API Sustain existing processes and implement improvements Manage QA environments and plan future enhancements Analyze user stories and business processes to assess quality risks Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Deep knowledge of Agile practices, especially Scrum 7+ years with Java or C# and solid OOP understanding 3-5 years with Python, focusing on testing frameworks and automation Over 5 years with JavaScript or TypeScript in test automation Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI Expertise in API and performance testing tools Database testing skills using SQL Experience with web testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor Experience with SCM (Git) and scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, Java Testing experience across front-end, back-end, and API components in cloud or client/server environments 10+ years of professional software testing experience preferred Preferred Qualifications: Experience with QA processes, standards, and procedures Ability to understand complex software solutions and usability aspects Self-managed with multiple projects Excellent time management and attention to detail Customer-focused attitude Strong communication skills Additional Details: Max bill rate: *** per hour Role is in-office, 5 days a week, preferably in Atlanta or Irvine, TX No potential for full-time employment conversion Industry experience in Retail Payments preferred Must have skills in QE Automation, Python, JavaScript Company provides a laptop (Y/N): Y Visa sponsorship: Not available; candidates with existing visas are acceptable
