Key Responsibilities:
Triage, assess, and treat patients across the lifespan with varying degrees of illness and injury
Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and expected outcomes
Manage multiple cases, prioritizing effectively and responding calmly under pressure
Deliver clear follow-up instructions and referrals to ensure continuity of care
Coordinate with physicians and other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care
Maintain constant focus on patient safety and quality outcomes
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 12 months)
Current Florida RN license (or multistate license with ability to obtain Florida licensure before start date)
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma; BSN preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start date
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required within 90 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or instructor-level credentials required within 90 days
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or instructor-level credentials required within 90 days
