Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

MRI Technologist - R.T.(R)(MR) ARRT

to support diagnostic imaging in a

short-term acute care, teaching hospital . This

evening shift

role requires strong MRI technical skills, experience with

Siemens equipment , and confidence working across diverse hospital environments such as

ER, ICU, NICU, and outpatient/inpatient settings . With a guaranteed 40-hour workweek and no call required, this opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-tech imaging environments and enjoy flexibility with advanced imaging protocols and software systems. Responsibilities

Operate

Siemens MRI systems

(Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida)

Perform imaging studies in

abdomen, pelvis, spine, chest, breast, head/neck, and musculoskeletal

areas

Utilize advanced imaging techniques: CINE ,

Diffusion ,

Gradient Echo ,

Spectroscopy

MIP ,

MRP ,

Perfusion ,

T1/T2 Weighted Imaging ,

Spin Echo ,

Surface Coils

Work with

EPIC

for documentation and

PACS

for image archiving

Assist with

IV starts

and contrast media prep as needed

Provide services in inpatient, outpatient, ICU, ER, and Level 1 Trauma settings

Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver timely and precise diagnostic results

Float within assigned scope if required (no sister facility floating)

Required Qualifications

Valid

ARRT (R)(MR)

certification -

must be in hand to submit

BLS certification

At least

1 year of recent MRI experience

Siemens scanner proficiency

(Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida)

Experience with

EPIC and PACS

Able to commit to evening shifts and occasional weekend/holiday rotations

Preferred Experience

Imaging specialties in: Breast, Chest, Brain, Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

Musculoskeletal:

Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Bony Pelvis

Abdomen & Pelvis (female/male)

Advanced post-processing techniques

and multi-sequence imaging

Work experience in

Level 1 Trauma ,

Teaching Hospitals , and

Community Hospitals

$15 at Laclede Garage (not reimbursed)
