Senior Data Scientist
to join the Media Science and Experimentation team, focusing on implementing
clean room technologies , developing
generative AI solutions for social listening , and advancing
audience monetization
through experiments and machine learning. You will collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Site Analytics, as well as external partners like Meta, Pinterest, and others, to explore new monetization opportunities. This position reports to the Director of Media Science and Experimentation. What you’ll do: Lead clean-room data science initiatives with Meta and Pinterest, managing workflows such as audience joins and cross-channel measurements. Collaborate on defining scalable data-sharing protocols supporting campaign measurement and audience activation. Design and implement GenAI solutions for social listening, extracting signals from comment data across influencer and social campaigns. Transform social content into actionable insights for campaign managers and advertisers. Integrate third-party data sources to enhance targeting and segmentation for personalized marketing. Develop scalable audience automation frameworks for dynamic modeling and data activation. Support go-to-market strategies with sales enablement materials and data narratives. Develop innovative measurement solutions in Data Clean Rooms using advanced ML algorithms and statistical tests. Participate in analytics projects, advising on experimental design and success metrics. Manage project execution from planning to deployment, communicating effectively with stakeholders. Conduct statistical power analyses to determine minimum sample sizes for tests. Analyze experiment results using techniques like t-tests, non-parametric tests, and regression analyses. What you’ll bring: Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist in marketing analytics, ideally in retail or membership environments. Expertise in statistical analysis, experimental design, regression modeling, and machine learning with tools like Python, R, Spark SQL, and MLlib. Strong knowledge of ad-tech and mar-tech, including attribution, A/B testing, and predictive modeling. Excellent communication skills to translate complex insights for non-technical audiences. Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments. Curious, collaborative mindset with a passion for solving complex problems. Familiarity with retail and membership concepts is a plus.
