The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes. Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
• Conduct reconciliations of bank statements, accounts and financial data
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify discrepancies or irregularities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
• Provide support for audits and tax filings

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
