Project Accountant

Epstein is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Accounting team. The Project Accountant ensures the accurate financial reporting for all projects. The Project Accountant ensure timely and accurate project billings and budgets. This position is required to partner with all levels/departments within the organization so excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are a must.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assists in project forecasting and reviews project cost reports with Project Managers
  • Coordinates monthly billing with project managers and prepares monthly invoices
  • Investigate and resolve any billing errors or discrepancies.
  • Tracks contract values, costs, budgets, waivers and invoices
  • Maintains monthly project reporting requirements
  • Assists in collecting outstanding invoices
  • Identifies and ensures proper cost coding
  • Handles the Accounts Payable (AP) procedures for his/her projects.
  • Assists with general accounting duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3-7 years accounting experience in A/E Industry (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Deltek Vision software experience is a plus

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually.
