Junior Accountant

We're looking to add a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant to support our finance team and help build a world-class accounting function from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  1. Assist with daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  2. Support month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
  3. Process invoices, vendor payments, employee expense reports, and credit card reconciliations
  4. Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with GAAP
  5. Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting
  6. Work closely with the finance lead on budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
  7. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and engineering to support purchasing and expense processes
  8. Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 02 years of accounting experience (internships welcome)
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices (GAAP)
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel); familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-growth startup environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in aerospace, satellite systems, or technology-driven industries is highly desirable
