We are a Premier Childcare & Preschool located in the new (O-Town West) Retail Area next to Glasshouse Apartments and Lake Buena Vista High School here in Orlando at 7530 Redmond Drive, Orlando, FL 32836 Phone: 407.778.1380! Our ideal candidate for this role will possess a compassionate attitude and a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.

Role Responsibilities:

• Partner with and learn from the teachers in your classroom to create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for children to learn, play and grow
• Responsible for the care, health and safety of toddlers ages 12 months to 24 months
• Required to have knowledge of developmentally appropriate activities, lesson planning, and assessments
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddler children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Support your center's success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED required
• ECE Coursework/AA/BA Preferred
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
• DCF 45 hours required**
• CDA required if no Early Education Degree
• CPR/First Aid Preferred
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds/sit on the floor with children

Compensation: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
