AIS Support Specialist

The AIS Support Specialist responsible for receiving equipment sent by the manufacturer and preparing it for dispatch to customers according to sales orders. They are also responsible for managing inventory (both for equipment assembly and warranty spare parts).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the work to be done by studying the assembly instructions, the specifications in the drawings, and the parts lists.
  • Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assemble components by examining connections to ensure they fit correctly; secure parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring the finished component.
  • Resolve assembly problems by modifying dimensions to meet specifications.
  • Mark and label components for inventory tracking and identification.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure specifications conform to work orders.
  • Able to understand blueprints, manuals, and work with computers, machines, and motion-controlled assembly robots to perform the job.

Note: The position may perform other projects or diverse tasks as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be based in Miami - Fort Lauderdale area. (Adistec doesn't offer relocation assistance for this position)
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or technology.
  • Must be bilingual (English - Spanish); trilingual a plus (Portuguese)
  • Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English / Spanish
  • Ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
