The Senior Project Manager - IT leads complex, high-impact technology initiatives across the organization. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with strategic goals. The Senior PM will also mentor and lead a team of project managers, driving maturity in project governance and delivery practices. Key Responsibilities Lead planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-level IT projects (software development, infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, acquisitions).
Define scope, goals, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders and leadership.
Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Identify and manage risks, issues, and change requests.
Ensure effective communication across technical and business teams.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Drive adoption of IT governance, documentation, and standardized processes.
Mentor junior PMs and support team members pursuing certifications (e.g., PMP).
Foster a culture of collaboration, flexibility, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master's preferred; relevant experience may substitute).
7+ years of IT project management experience, including 3+ years in a senior/lead capacity.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-level projects.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Skilled in stakeholder management, governance, and project documentation.
Proficient with project tools: MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet. Preferred Experience IT projects in
manufacturing
environments.
Cloud migrations, ERP implementations, or cybersecurity initiatives.
Change management and ITIL practices.
Experience managing projects involving
