Software Engineer Manager
At Regions, the Software Engineer Manager oversees application development for a department or group within the company. Manages all aspects of system design, development, deployment, acquisition, and ongoing maintenance for all application systems within areas of responsibility. Develops technology solutions that increase the efficiency of internal business functions, resolves business problems, and supports the pursuit of business opportunities for areas of responsibility. Creates and refines operational processes and systems to ensure effective regulatory and audit compliance. Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrates technical parameters, and assures compatibility of all interfaces. Supports the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements through management processes. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field Six (6) years of relevant experience Experience as a team leader Preferences: Experience in a Technology role in banking or a financial services industry Skills and Competencies: Ability to manage multiple projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills Strong organizational skills This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Locations available for this role are Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC. Position Type: Full time Compensation Details: Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target: Minimum: $131,788.25 USD Median: $168,040.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
