Business Intelligence Developer

The Business Intelligence Developer role is pivotal in empowering the Site Operations team by designing and maintaining data pipelines that integrate data from various tools into centralized databases. The developer will focus on gathering, transforming, and validating data to produce accurate metrics, dashboards, and reports that track performance against goals and KPIs. By collaborating with Site Operations leadership and subject matter experts, the role ensures that data solutions align with operational objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering continuous improvement across the organization. Key responsibilities include building scalable dashboards, automating data collection processes, and conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability. The developer will analyze trends in operational data, such as those from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), to identify gaps and opportunities, supporting strategic planning for the Site Operations team. Staying abreast of industry trends in business intelligence and data integration, the developer will adopt best practices to enhance reporting capabilities and operational efficiency, ensuring the data infrastructure remains robust and relevant. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to gather, integrate, and transform data from various tools and systems into centralized databases to support Site Operations team reporting and analytics. Collaborate with Site Operations leadership and stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals, ensuring data solutions align with operational objectives and provide actionable insights. Build and optimize scalable dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track metrics against goals, enabling data-driven decision-making for the Site Operations team. Monitor and validate data quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data sourced from diverse tools, including Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other operational platforms. Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand tool-specific data structures and integrate new data sources to enhance reporting capabilities and support operational efficiency. Develop automated processes to streamline data collection, aggregation, and analysis, reducing manual effort and improving reporting timeliness. Conduct regular audits of data pipelines and reporting outputs to ensure reliability and alignment with evolving business needs and KPIs. Analyze trends in operational data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement for the Site Operations team. Stay abreast of industry trends in business intelligence, data integration, and analytics tools to ensure the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions in data management. Qualifications

3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or data analytics roles, with a focus on developing data pipelines and reporting solutions. 5+ years working in environments involving operational data, preferably in a critical facility or data center context. Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and BI solutions using tools such as SQL, Python, ETL frameworks, or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, assess data quality, and translate findings into actionable insights for operational teams. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences. Familiarity with CMMS platforms, data integration techniques, and industry-standard KPIs for operational performance is highly desirable. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern data warehousing solutions is a plus. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
