Account Manager II, FDO
The Account Manager II, FDO is a seasoned account manager who has developed long term relationships as a trusted advisor with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The role configures, prices and quotes solutions for the customer and has the knowledge to connect with key internal resources to initiate cross-selling opportunities. After securing the order this role manages the order and solves complex issues as needed to meet all customer requirements to maximize profitability to the office and company. As new company initiatives are created, this role is responsible in supporting and driving those initiatives in their territory. Responsibilities
Creates and maintains a Sales Plan for each assigned account and finds new clients and opportunities. Sells Vertiv products and services to client representatives, such as engineers, architects, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments. Collaborates with others in the territory to offer the best possible customer experience to Vertiv customers. Achieves or exceeds sales quota. Maintains a pipeline in CRM with 3x quota level of personal sales activity. Develops trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers in our customer organizations and our internal organization. Prepares and follows up on quotations. Provides general sales support to customers. Builds rapport with customers through regular in-field customer visits. Prepares customer submittals, from order entry to shipment. Mentors other members of the team in technical and commercial aspects of the role. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Proven successful experience in large account sales and account management in a similar industry. Understanding of electrical contractors, consultants, and end users for Data Center applications. Knowledge of critical support equipment operations for both power and mechanical products. Demonstrated proficiency in actively managing and expanding orders pipeline utilizing accepted CRM tools and best practices. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
