Cupertino, California, United States Software and Services In today's fast-paced, data-centric marketplace, we are seeking a dedicated, curious, passionate, and results-oriented individual who excels in critical thinking and brings deep expertise in analyzing marketing data to join our Marketing Data Sciences team. The Data Scientist will play a key role in enabling insights for marketing campaign performance. This individual will provide measurement and campaign optimization insights for Apple's payment products, including Apple Card, Apple Cash, Apple Pay, and Apple Gift Cards, which will inform and shape marketing strategy and user experience. The successful candidate will be a thought partner to the marketing team, will work closely with the collaborators to understand their goals and critical metrics, and then analyze data to provide actionable recommendations. We believe analytics is a team sport, but we strive for independent decision-making and taking smart risks. Responsibilities
Build data/model pipelines to automate recurring data pull and modeling processes. Use ML techniques to build propensity models for email targeting Collaborate with marketers to develop hypotheses and conduct experiments to optimize marketing communications. Track and measure performance of email campaigns to quantify business impact Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Leverage Tableau and Keynote to visualize insights and deliver results in business presentations and dashboards. Minimum Qualifications
Hands on professional experience building propensity, uplift, and other machine learning models. Relevant background in analytics and data science. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong technical skills in SQL and Python. Experience with Tableau to deliver actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications
Prior professional experience in financial products and services, marketing, advertising, or customer analytics. Experience with GenAI to scale analyses and shorter lead times. Fluency with SQL queries in large and complex fragmented datasets and relational databases. Expertise in causal inference modeling and advanced statistical/econometric models, including regression and time series modeling. Degree in analytics, data science, marketing or similar. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
