Air Hydro Power
As Branch Counter Sales this position will handle walk-in customers and counter sales associated with the store location. This position will be responsible for shipping and receiving functions in the warehouse, making quotes on standard items, processing orders, and relaying pertinent information to customers. This position will also coordinate with other departments in handling purchase orders and provide value-added services to customers.
Counter Sales
Receives requests for product selection, price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers. Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible customer service. Uses corporate ERP system (P21) to retrieve customer information, stock status information, purchase order status, and make changes to customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information. Performs regular "cycle counting" of stock inventory. Regularly uses hand tools (chop saws, cut-off saws, and hydraulic crimper) to make custom hose-assemblies for walk-in customers. Must be able to read measurements on a ruler, digital calibrator, tape measure, etc. Must frequently research part numbers and specifications in vendor catalogs. Operates the retail counter by handling walk-in cash and credit card sales. Warehouse Clerk
Assist in shipping and receiving functions. Unload and load trucks for shipments. Check-in merchandise and verify incoming materials against packing list to ensure accuracy. Look up and compute inbound freight using zip codes and weight to determine freight costs to be added to customer order in corporate ERP system. Assemble customer orders according to the pick ticket by pulling parts warehouse shelving and put in appropriate area for shipment to customer. Quality check orders to ensure correct items are picked and correct shipping method is used before shipping order to customer. Package customer orders in the best way possible to prevent damage or loss during shipment to customer. Operate forklift to put away or pull material and in general warehouse duties. Enter information into corporate ERP system. Maintain a clean and safe work environment including maintaining aisle ways, keeping warehouse stock neat and orderly, removing trash and recycling to appropriate dumpster. Wear proper safety equipment for the task being performed. Use computers to ship customer orders by verifying carrier, freight, and payment method. Put stock away according to bin location. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
