This role is with Kovalsky-Carr Electric Supply Co., now part of United Electric Supply Co. (100% employee-owned). The company offers lighting, wire/cable/conduit, distribution and control, data communications, electro-mechanical, and energy solutions.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities include inspecting and stocking materials, picking and packing orders, assisting with shipments, and providing customer service while ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, check packing slips against merchandise, inspect for defects, notify supervisor as necessary.
• Stock shelves and keep materials in designated areas.
• Pull materials to fill current orders, back orders, inter-branch transfers, and will call orders; verify quantity and customer specifications.
• Utilize RF guns for picking and packing.
• Pack and ship materials in designated cartons per customer order and procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist customers with pipe purchases.
• Cut wire for counter, will call, and other sales orders to meet customer specifications.
• Check email and trackers daily for time-sensitive information.
• Post purchase orders via RF and related data into the computer system.
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver exceptional service while maintaining high standards for courtesy, knowledge and ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position.

Safety & Physical Requirements

• May be required to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs multiple times per day; ability to bend, twist, and climb.
• Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Operate safely and encourage safe behavior by others; personal safety is everyone's responsibility.
• Complete accident/incidents reports for safety or health infractions observed or occurring.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Minimum High School Diploma.

• Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $18.00/hr
