Overview
CHS Primeland in Grangeville, ID is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team. This individual would be responsible for hauling fuel in a bobtail straight truck to our local customers. The ideal candidate would have a Class A or B CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements or willing to obtain. This is a M-F position with overtime potential during our busy seasons.
Base pay range
$21.63/hr - $34.62/hr
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
- Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
- Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Class A or B CDL
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
Additional Qualifications
- Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Must meet DOT and Company requirements
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
- Bulk liquid experience preferred
- Pre-employment screening may be required based on job requirements and industry guidelines (drug, criminal, motor vehicle checks, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/carry up to 80 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel

Actual pay offered will vary based on factors including experience, education, training, certifications and applicable minimum wage requirements.
