Overview
Data Analyst - Finance role with Russell Tobin in Plano, TX. Hybrid (2-3 days onsite). The position supports the Analytics team, turning data into actionable business insights using SQL, Python, Tableau, and PowerPoint to uncover trends, build visualizations, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business questions into analytical problems.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL/Python.
- Build dashboards and visual stories using Tableau and PowerPoint.
- Present insights and recommend actions clearly to business leaders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and measure outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Finance, Engineering).
- Professional experience with SQL, Python/R, Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in data cleaning, analysis, and storytelling.
- Comfort presenting to various audiences, both virtually and in-person.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar STEM field).
- Experience in auto finance, lending, credit risk, or pricing.
- Exposure to AI/ML is a plus.

Base pay range: $55.00/hr - $58.00/hr
