Overview

Data Analyst (ERP) role at GSI Engineering LLC. This IT platform owner supports multiple business units in their Deltek Vision ERP needs. The ERP Specialist will support requests, build processes and tools that ensure system users get the information they need through system reporting, and access to data through properly configured access roles and application security.

Responsibilities

• Respond to assigned tickets as an escalation point for internal customers requiring IT platform support on the Deltek Vision platform
• Consult internal users, create, update, and support reports that preset information from the platform
• Create workflow processes and customize dashboards and reporting
• Participate in the design, development, and operational enhancements for Deltek Vision
• Design, support, and ensure accuracy of new data imports and exports
• Assist in developing standards for data analysis, the development of reports, and provide summaries to management
• Project Management/Resource Planning
• Develop workflows and customize the program to meet company needs
• Document and develop technical process manuals and/or SOPs for help desk efficiency
• Troubleshoot and provide resolution to issues within Deltek Vision
• Record trainings and update training videos to supplement the Deltek Learning Zone
• Travel up to 40%

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in ERP systems
• Minimum 1 year experience using SQL Server Reporting Services
• Minimum 1 year experience using SQL Server Management Studio
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, charts, VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formatting); basic proficiency in Word, Outlook
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with key stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy aligned to specifications
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-directed
• Effective time management to meet deadlines and requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience
• 2+ years of system management and troubleshooting experience
• Certifications: MCSE, NETWORK+, ITIL, COBIT, VCP-DCV
• Cloud and data center disaster recovery experience
• ITIL experience
