Overview

ADT is a security provider offering smart home solutions. The position is for a Resale Sales Representative responsible for selling reactivation services and upgraded products within an assigned territory to customers with previously discontinued ADT systems, while maintaining quota and following established guidelines.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and engage prospects using lead generation techniques to maximize outreach.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, highlighting benefits of ADT products and services compared to competitors.
  • Manage the work order process and ensure documentation follows approved procedures.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
  • Enhance customer retention by proactively confirming satisfaction after service completion.

What You’ll Need

  • Sales Experience: Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Lead Generation: Ability to independently generate sales leads and develop new opportunities.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster customer relationships.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to diverse customer scenarios and remain proactive.
  • Problem-solving: Effective problem-solving skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Time Management: Strong time management to nurture leads independently.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Comfortable using Salesforce for tracking and follow-ups.
  • Ambition and Drive: Results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the sales pipeline.
  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Availability: Willing to work full-time with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to maximize lead generation.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay and Benefits Disclosure

Sales advisors receive uncapped commission plus a training wage of up to $4,000 over the first 8 weeks. Commissions are paid as a percentage of products or services sold, with a potential monthly performance bonus. Based on performance, new advisors can earn around $105,000, with experienced advisors earning over $150,000.
