Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.
- Identify and understand customer goals and challenges, positioning D.R. Horton as the best solution.
- Overcome objections and close sales.
- Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction stages.
- Continuously source new sales opportunities.
- Create and present marketing plans to management for establishing new customer relationships.
- Network and perform outreach to realtors.
- Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Maintain and expand the prospect database.
- Attend sales meetings.
- Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profit.
- Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
- Implement policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience.
- Must possess a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during day or night.
- Ability to use D.R. Horton Sales applications on various devices.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and apply common sense understanding.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, sit for extended periods, kneel, bend, climb stairs, walk on uneven terrain, and handle or feel objects. Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions; moderate noise level.
Preferred Qualifications
- State-specific licensing requirements.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Previous sales experience and industry knowledge.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly motivated.
