Position Description: POSITION SUMMARY:
As Project Manager, you will bring structure, accountability and coordination across departments, consultants, vendors, and project teams. By standardizing project processes and tracking performance metrics, a project manager helps the organization scale efficiently. Establishing a project management position allows senior leadership to focus on strategic decision-making while ensuring the day-to-day project execution is handled with professionalism, discipline and follow-through.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Initiation
\tDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables
\tDevelop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget
\tEstablish key milestones and deadlines
Team Coordination and Leadership
\tAssign tasks and responsibilities to project team members
\tFacilitate communication and collaboration among team members and departments
\tMonitor team performance and provide direction or support as needed
Budget and Resource Management
\tDevelop and manage project budgets
\tMonitor resource usage and control project costs
\tIdentify and resolve budget variances
Timeline and Schedule Management\tCreate and maintain detailed project schedules
\tTrack progress against deadlines and adjust plans as necessary
\tIdentify and mitigate schedule risks or delays
Risk Management
\tIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
\tMonitor ongoing risk factors throughout the project lifecycle
\tImplement contingency plans when needed
Stakeholder Communication
\tServe as the main point of contact between the project team and stakeholders
\tPrepare and deliver regular project updates and reports
\tFacilitate meetings and presentations with internal and external stakeholders
Quality Assurance
\tEnsure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
\tConduct project reviews, audits, and post-project evaluations
\tDocument lessons learned and best practices
Issue Resolution
\tProactively identify and resolve project issues or conflicts
\tEscalate concerns appropriately and maintain project momentum
\tFoster a problem-solving culture within the team
Documentation and Reporting
\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
\tTrack and report on project performance metrics (KPIs, milestones, deliverables)
\tEnsure compliance with regulatory or contractual requirements
Project Closeout
\tConfirm completion of all deliverables
\tCoordinate final stakeholder approvals
\tLead project debriefs and create final reports
Additional Information: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
\tBachelors degree in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
\tProject Management Professional (PMP) certification
\tProven experience as a Project Executive with a strong portfolio of completed projects
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
\tStrong understanding of project management methodologies
\tExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
\tAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
\tProficiency in project management software
