Role Description


This is a full-time on-site Project Manager role at Maman Corp. in Elk Grove Village, IL. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction projects from initiation through completion. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent client and subcontractor relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of commercial construction projects


Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans


Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors


Monitor job progress and proactively resolve issues to minimize delays


Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements


Oversee procurement of materials and negotiate vendor contracts


Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and progress reports


Lead regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and senior leadership


Manage project closeout, including punch lists and final inspections



Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)


5+ years of experience in commercial construction management


Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and budgeting


Proficient with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)


Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills


OSHA certification preferred
