Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing company financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conducting regular audits to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Maintaining the general ledger, including recording transactions, balancing accounts, and preparing reports.
- Analyzing financial statements to assess the company\'s financial position and performance.
- Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the integrity of financial information.
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and processes.
- Providing financial advice to the management team, enabling strategic decision-making.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure company compliance.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or CPA is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in auditing, tax preparation, ledger management, financials, income statements, and reconciliation.
- Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on industry trends and regulations.
Base pay range
$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
