Accountant
Location: East Providence RI 02915
Duration: 12 months
Will Work in office Hybrid schedule
Rate: $24.30-$26.38/hr on W2
Responsibilities
- Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Reports organization\'s finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; forty hours per week is the expectation in the absence of specified hours. Unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal.

- Familiar with a variety of the field\'s concepts, practices, and procedures
- Excel experience
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks
- May lead and direct the work of others
- May report to an executive or a manager
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Desired Skills
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or other finance related field
- 3-5 years experience in finance related field, and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
