About Us: Ivywood Academy is a well-known early childhood education group in Georgia, dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for young learners. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Toddler Teacher and Assistant Teacher.

Job Responsibilities:


Toddler Teacher:


  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum for toddlers.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess children's development and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about child development and behavior.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
Assistant Teacher:


  • Support the lead teacher in executing the curriculum and daily activities.
  • Assist with classroom management and supervision of toddlers.
  • Help prepare and organize teaching materials and classroom resources.
  • Build positive relationships with children and parents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:


Toddler Teacher:


  • Associated degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching toddlers in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Assistant Teacher:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Experience working with young children is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing attitude.
