Join CBRE as a Receptionist and be the face of exceptional service. This role is part of the Workplace Experience team, dedicated to delivering world-class customer service in Midland, Texas, United States.
As a CBRE Receptionist, you’ll create a welcoming and professional environment for clients, visitors, and team members. You’ll greet guests and answer calls, coordinate meeting rooms, and support daily office operations to help ensure everything runs smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Front Desk Operations: Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate personnel or voicemail, ensuring prompt and courteous communication.
- Guest Experience: Welcome clients, applicants, and visitors upon arrival. Issue visitor passes and parking validations while adhering to security protocols.
- Meeting & Event Support: Schedule and prepare meeting and conference rooms, including room setup, catering coordination, and technology arrangements. Request building and housekeeping services as needed.
- Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties such as distributing mail, faxes, and packages, and managing office supply orders.
- Logistics Coordination: Track incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and freight. Arrange messenger services and hospitality needs such as transportation, tickets, and reservations for guests.
- Process Adherence: Follow established procedures to resolve routine issues, with limited discretion and decision-making authority.
- Task Execution: Complete assigned tasks using clearly defined methods and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED required; up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to follow established routines and procedures with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for exchanging clear and concise information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, curious mindset.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the assigned work location.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
