Title: Business Operations Analyst
Location: Austin, TX - (HYBRID, 4 days onsite)
Compensation: $35 - $45 /hr
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Business Analyst to support operational and financial initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the Chief of Staff to evaluate and document key business deliverables and financial performance, with an emphasis on clear communication and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Operational Analysis
- Analyze and interpret financial data to support budgeting, resource planning, and business decision-making
- Break down complex spreadsheets and data sets, translating insights into layman-friendly presentations while also addressing executive-level inquiries
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting and financial modeling to assess operational efficiency and program viability
- Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial and operational metrics
- Act as a liaison between teams to ensure deliverables are documented and tracked effectively
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements where appropriate
- Support various business initiatives by providing strategic input and data-driven recommendations
- Prepare polished reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint for leadership review
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in business and strategic analysis (non-technical)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Strong understanding of financial statements and business operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to prioritize tasks and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with the ability to take initiative and adapt quickly
