Overview
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst to support healthcare IT and business transformation initiatives. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, clinicians, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, analyze processes, and implement solutions that improve healthcare delivery, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, clinicians, IT teams, and external vendors to gather and document requirements.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Support healthcare IT and business transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions align with regulatory and quality standards.
- Assist with the design and implementation of new or enhanced processes, systems, and data requirements to improve care delivery and compliance.
- Facilitate communication and alignment among cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain (payer, provider, public health, or EHR systems).
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, claims processing, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835, ICD-10, CPT).
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.) or healthcare data warehouses.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart).
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform data analysis is a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with public health systems or government healthcare programs (Medicare/Medicaid).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Certification: CBAP, CCBA, CSM, or Healthcare IT certifications (e.g., CPHIMS).
