Overview

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our Alabama team! This amazing Dental Assistant opportunity is a Part-Time position working 20 hours per week at the St. Clair Correctional Facility in Springville, AL. This dental assistant position is scheduled for 2 ten-hour days, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00 am through 4:30 pm. This dental assistant position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry. There are NO late nights or weekends!! Although working 1 occasional Saturday monthly is required to assist the oral surgeon. Pay is competitive and compensation is $18 per hour.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities align with routine chairside duties and administrative support as described below.

Duties

• Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• No ortho, crown & bridge, or endo required.
• Administrative duties are also required.

Qualifications

1. 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
2. MUST have CPR for Healthcare Providers.
