Mechanic Job at Big Brand Tire & Service in Los Angeles

Overview

Role: Mechanic. Estimated pay: $33.00 - $55.00 per hour (effective rate). Location: 1301 N. Highland Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90028. Effective rate consists of:

• Hourly rate: $20.00 - $25.00, based on experience
• Incentives: $13.00-$30.00 per hour average, based on productivity

Additional earning opportunities: Overtime.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to perform front-end mechanical repairs, including but not limited to alignments, brakes, steering/suspension, fluid exchanges, and repair or replacement of components such as water pumps, alternators, belts, hoses, radiators.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of professional mechanical experience working in automotive repair.
• Must be energetic, ethical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to examine and identify necessary repairs and maintenance needed.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members to ensure mechanical issues are addressed and to make recommendations.
• Be physically able to lift 70 lbs. and endure continuous crouching, bending, and turning.
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
